It looks like No Man’s Sky is getting mechs soon.
A trailer for a new No Man’s Sky update has been uploaded ahead of time to the Xbox YouTube channel. It’s since been removed, but not before it was re-uploaded elsewhere.
The trailer showed off the game’s newest feature: mechs. They come in different shapes and sizes, and some are equipped with jet packs. Mechs are shown handling mining and exploration tasks, but it’s not clear if they can also be set up for combat.
The trailer sadly doesn’t reveal a release date for Exo Mechs, but we’re likely going to get one later today on Inside Xbox. We also expect some more details from developer Hello Games, so come back later today for more.

No Man’s Sky only recently received living ships, a couple of months after Hello Games added a music creator.
