Destiny’s Age of Triumph event coming in March, old raids look to be making a return

Bungie is will host the “final live event” for the Destiny 1 era next Wednesday, and it’s called “Age of Triumph.” Let the Destiny 2 hype commence.

According to the studio, the final live event for Destiny will be a “fun and memorable celebration” which will bring the first chapter “to a fitting close.” This is probably the big update the team said was coming sometime this spring.

If you look over the imagery, it looks as though older raids are likely to return with Age of triumph. Arekkz expects Vault of Glass, Crota’s End and King’s Fall in particular.

Age of Triumph is slated for the end of March, and until release, Bungie plans to hold a series of livestream showcases.

Theses streams will show some of the content and activity updates currently in the works.

The first stream will focus on the reveal of Age of Triumph. It will take place next week on March 8.

Come March 15, the Bungie livestream will take a look at Weekly Rituals in Age of Triumph, and the final stream will showcase the Age of Triumph Sandbox update on March 22.

If previous content drops coinciding with the livestreams are any indication, we should expect Age of Triumph to drop on or around March 28.

This is all in preparation for Destiny 2, which Bungie teased a bit earlier today. The only concrete things we really know about the game is items in Destiny 1 won’t carry over into the sequel, and it’s dropping sometime this year.
