Xbox’s newest subscription service, Game Pass, will become available starting next month.
It looks like someone pushed a button early. The official Xbox Facebook page published a trailer for the Xbox Game Pass earlier that reveals a June 1 launch.
This date was not previously known, and it’s a bit surprising there’s no official announcement to accompany the video yet. The trailer, featuring a mildly excited Danny McBride, doesn’t include any new details outside of the date.
We already knew Xbox Game Pass would cost $10 per month and unlock “over 100 games.” The official page for the service also hasn’t been updated since the initial reveal.
There are many unanswered questions about Xbox Game Pass at this point, such as the list of available games at launch. Though the premise does sound promising, we’re eager to lock down actual details.
