Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus, now in a form you can conceivably get through before the pressures of modern life collapse upon you yet again.
Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus was announced at E3 2017 last week with a lengthy trailer, which was one of the highlights of the show.
It was a good time, for sure, but what with the live-action film intro and what felt like a determined tour of the enormous cast of Wolfie 2, it certainly went on a bit. We don’t blame you for skipping it if you got up the next morning, looked at the timestamp, realised you couldn’t watch it before the bus, and forgot all about it. Who has the time?
Well, here’s your chance to catch up: Bethesda has released a new cut of the Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus announce trailer which clocks in at just over three and a half minutes – less if you scrub through the logos and black screens at either end.
This experience is somewhat less impactful than the one that made us all say “yes, Pete Hines, you are correct: that absolutely is fucking bananas“, but it’s still pretty good and may give you an idea why everyone lost it over Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus during the show.
Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus releases in October for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. MachineGames reckons its the best story the team has ever made, although of course you always thing your newest project is your best one yet, innit.
