Expand your Switch storage space with a 128GB Micro SD for £30 / $38 today

For a limited time, you can snap up a Nintendo Switch compatible 128GB Micro SD card for under £30 / $38.

If you’re one of the millions of Nintendo Switch owners, sooner or later you’re likely to run up against the limitations of the built-in 32GB system storage space. Thankfully, Nintendo allows the use of regular old Micro SD cards up to 2TB (which don’t technically exist yet).

A good middle ground for storage space and value is a 128GB card, and conveniently enough, you can snap up a bargain one of those right this very moment. Head over to PicStop and you’ll be able to grab a 128GB Micro SD for £29.99 / $37.99, one of the cheapest prices for a 128GB we’ve seen so far.

That’s a card with a 100MB/s transfer speed, too, which should be totally fine for loading games. For what it’s worth, I’ve had one of these 128GB SanDisk cards in my Switch since launch and so far, I’ve never had to worry about storage space at all, which is nice.

It was especially nice when L.A. Noire came out and I still managed to have space left over on my card. Thankfully, the vast majority of Switch games on the market at the moment aren’t storage space hogs, with games like Super Mario Odyssey only taking up 5.7GB at launch.

We’ve got a whole guide to the best Nintendo Switch accessories as well as a regularly updated guide to the best Micro SD cards for Switch over at Jelly.Deals, too, among a bunch of other stuff. Feel free to check them out.
