Suicide Squad star Jay Hernandez will play Thomas Magnum in CBS' Magnum P.I. reboot pilot. Variety reports Hernandez has been cast as the titular private investigator, who uses his skills as an ex-Navy SEAL to take on cases no one else will and help those who have no one else to turn to. Tom Selleck played the character in the original 1980s series.
