The Defenders is unlikely to return for a second season, according to Jessica Jones star Krysten Ritter. While speaking to Vulture, Ritter discussed what it was like to film The Defenders and how it compares to making Jessica Jones. However, despite having a great time doing the ensemble superhero show, Ritter revealed there were never any plans to go back to The Defenders.
