Star Trek 4 has reportedly hired the film franchise's first female director. Variety reports S.J. Clarkson has been tapped to helm the fourth Trek film. Plot details nor an official release date haven't been revealed. But recent reports suggest it would feature Chris Hemsworth's George Kirk meeting his son James T. Kirk, portrayed by Chris Pine.
