Overwatch’s second Anniversary Event starts next week, according to a new, timely leak.
It seems practically every Overwatch event has to leak before Blizzard has a chance to officially announce it, and the game’s second Anniversary Event is no exception.
As has been typically the case with other Overwatch-related leaks, one regional social channel for Blizzard or Overwatch decides to upload a trailer for the event before it’s officially announcement.
In this case, the Brazilian Overwatch Twitter published a 20-second trailer confirming the start date of May 22. The video has since been removed, but a mirror still exists on Reddit.
The video features Junkrat and Roadhog dancing, flipping between many of their skins. One of these, for Junkrat, is completely new. That’s the green pirate skin, in case you missed it.
The video confirms that brawls from the previous Anniversary Event will make a return. Though it only shows a single new skin, it’s very likely Junkrat won’t be the only hero to get a skin this event.

Judging by how Blizzard typically handles big Overwatch events, expect the developer to drop a few teases this week before the big launch next week.
Maybe we’ll event get a look at some of the new skins through the week. We’ll keep you updated.
