Rainbow Six Siege: Operation Para Bellum video shows off the Villa map

It may look lovely, but the Villa isn’t a place you’d want to spend a vacation.

Rainbow Six Siege: Operation Para Bellum, the second drop in Rainbow Six Siege’s third year of content, will feature a map called the Villa.

According to the description from Ubisoft, the map was designed to “offer a competitive showdown.” It provides wide staircases, narrow tunnels, and secret hatches.

It looks like a rather posh place, but some of its floors are destructible, which means enemies will be able to see you from below.

Here’s more about the Villa:

The land belongs to the Vinciguerra, a dangerous crime family known for their smuggling activities. The house is their retreat, where they lead a lavish lifestyle and collect rare art pieces. Now we catch the villa in a snapshot of time: Vinciguerras are burning documents and transporting their holdings before the big raid. But they’ve got wind of Operation Para Bellum and fled, leaving everything in disarray with vital information ready for the taking.

Rainbow Six Siege: Operation Para Bellum was previously rumored to take place in Italy, and it sure looks to be the case.

When it releases, it will feature two new operators, Alibi and one who is apparently called Maestro. No word just yet on whether his actual name is Bob Cobb.

The full reveal of Operation Para Bellum will occur May 19-20 via the Rainbow Six Twitch channel during the Pro League Finals in Atlantic City.
