A free-to-play game set in the Titanfall universe is set to release on Monday, according to rumors.

A battle royale game set in the Titanfall universe will be released on Monday, according to numerous rumors online.

The rumors stem for various streamers who were in LA yesterday for an event, many of which sent information to eSports insider Rod Breslau.

According to the information handed to Breslau, EA and Respawn invited streamers and eSpots pros out to the event to play Apex Legends.

Apex Legends will feature three-player teams with up to 60 players max on a server. Like other online competitive games, thing Fortnite, Overwatch, etcetera, the game will include cosmetic items and in-game through loot boxes and transactions.

Various folks who attended the event told Breslau “the game felt good,” and they were “genuinely excited for it.”

Apex Legends is set to release on Monday, February 4 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Of course, until EA makes an official announcement, we’ll keep this marked as rumor, despite all signs pointing to yes.
