Skyrim isn’t on smart watches yet but your friends don’t need to know that

This week, in “does it run Skyrim?” we have a Galaxy Watch that is definitely not running the game, but why not follow suit and fool your friends? Or just the real dumb ones, at least.

Redditor u/Brazuka_txt posted a photo of his Galaxy Watch displaying the Skyrim logo this weekend to much excitement.

Things only got better when he followed up with a video of the game’s opening scene playing on the watch.

u/Brazuka_txt explains that he did it all himself using a watch face maker app.

“Cut a video, make it a gif, go to watch facemaker app and put this as the watchface.” Simple. Behold the result:

The r/ItrunsSkyrim subreddit is a goldmine for seeing what Skyrim has been shoehorned into.

The latest post shows Skyrim playing in a Ford.

“Inside the center console of the truck is plugins for audio/video. Plugged my ps3 in and in the back of the console between the front seats is a power plug. And now traffic jams will never be an issue again,” said OP u/jaxturbo3, leading to a very important comment on road safety from u/Strai336

“Crashes the car. Vision slowly fades to black. Opens eyes . ‘Hey, you. You’re finally awake.'”

The last device that Skyrim hasn’t actually been on, but has proven to be an hilarious parody nevertheless is the Skyrim: Very Special Edition on Alexa, which turned out to be a real game, of sorts.

Bethesda recently released an early access version of The Elder Scrolls: Blades on iOS and Android.

The game topped the App Store in its first week, with over one million downloads. While the first update has zapped a few bugs, Bethesda has promised further balance tweaks for the game’s Silver Chests.
