Monster Hunter World’s Iceborne expansion finally has a console release date, set to come out on PS4 and Xbox One on September 9. The Monster Hunter Twitter account said that a PC release would follow "this Winter," which we assume is the northern hemisphere's Winter, though it's unclear if "this Winter" implies the very end of 2019 or early 2020.
First gameplay from Iceborne was also shown during Sony's State of Play showcase today, including looks at new and returning monsters, as well as new snow mechanics and a Palico ability. You can watch that gameplay here:
