Microsoft have gone live with their Countdown sale, which includes some hefty AAA releases from 2020. At the time of writing they claim to have an eye-popping 787 items discounted, so no matter what you’re looking for to fill up the long months of wintery quarantine, you’re bound to find something here.
Despite the New Year’s theme, these offers don’t end until January 3rd, so you’ve got plenty of time to make your mind up. Ubisoft’s cockney hacker sandbox Watch Dogs Legion is $30 off, while the Resident Evil 3 remake is cheaper by almost $40. If you’re willing to play something a little older (as in, didn’t just come out), classic titles from the last decade such as Red Dead Redemption 2 are a full 55% off.
