Update 1.5 introduced as Genshin Impact’s housing system, the Serenitea Pot. This has players creating all kinds of furniture to raise their teapot’s trust rank. Wood is a material you'll need to make furniture, and all different types of it can be found across Teyvat. Before we explain how to find each type of wood, however, let's first answer how to get the Serenitea Pot.

You need to meet these pre-requisites before you can get the Serenitea Pot:
Once you complete these tasks, a quest called “A Teapot to Call Home” will become available. Complete the quest and you'll receive the teapot! Entering the teapot is as simple as going to the gadgets tab of your inventory, selecting it, and then hopping inside when it appears in front of you.

How to Find Wood in Genshin Impact
Bamboo Location
Bamboo segments can only be found in Liyue. Simply head over to the waypoint beside Qingce Village and you’ll find yourself surrounded by lots of bamboo.
Fir Wood Location
The highest concentration of fir wood can be found along the roads beside Dawn Winery, near the statue of the sevens.
Pine Wood Location
Pine wood can be found inside Mondstadt and along the Snow-Covered Road in Dragonspine.
Sandbearer Wood Location
Sandbearer wood can only be found in Liyue, with the greatest concentration lying inside Guili Plains which stretches southward towards the statue of the seven.
Birch Wood Location
Birch wood can be found all over Teyvat with Mondstadt having most of it. The highest concentration of birch wood can be found near the statue of the seven, between Springvale and Dawn Winery.
Cuihua Wood Location
Cuihua wood is the most common type of wood and is scattered all across Teyvat. Most of it can be found near Dadaupa Gorge.
Fragrant Cedar Wood Location
Fragrant cedar wood can be found around Dawn Winery. This is quite fitting as I expect corks made from this wood will have an amazing smell and is perfect for the wine they’re selling.
You might’ve noticed that most of the wood can be found near Dawn Winery, so a daily trip to this area might be worth it unless you’re looking for a very specific type of wood, such as bamboo segments.
If you’ve exhausted the resources in this guide, miHoYo released an interactive map you can use to find more wood. Not only that, but you can also use the map to search for other things, like local specialties (Cor Lapis, Valberry, etc.) and even oculi.
