Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy Is Up for Preorder - E3 2021

The upcoming Square Enix game Guardians of the Galaxy is heading to PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC on October 26. Judging by the trailer, the game promises to keep the comic's (and movies') weirdness and sense of humor. The game is up for preorder now in digital form. Unlike Marvel's Avengers, this is a single-player, story-driven game, so you'll make your way through the campaign, which brings you to various planets throughout the galaxy. Here's everything you need to know to preorder Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy.

What is Guardians of the Galaxy the Game?

You play as Star-Lord, who, like the characters in the Avengers game, sports a face that's different from the one you're familiar with in the MCU. The same goes for the other characters, but they land closer to the mark. 

As for the gameplay, it's a third-person action game that has you gliding around on Star-Lord's hover boots and blasting away at malevolent aliens. During the dialog-driven cutscenes, you'll get to choose responses using a conversation wheel, similar to Mass Effect.
