Warner Bros exec reportedly cites need to “regain our credibility and swagger at producing great games”, as company shutters Shadow of Mordor studio and cancels Wonder Woman

Warner Bros. has confirmed that it's cancelled the Wonder Woman game that'd long been in the works at Shadow of Mordor developer Monolith Productions. As had sadly become a norm for the the games industry in 2025, that news has come alongside the closure of Monolith and two other studios under the WB Games umbrella - Multiversus dev Player First Games and Warner Bros. Games San Diego.
