There’s a lot happening this week, starting with a new hardware launch – the Switch arrives on Friday. It brings with it The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, which earned a perfect Edge review score, and that may be all it needs. That’s not all it has, obviously, even though Nintendo has said it’s deliberately staggering big releases – but it is the main thing.
Going up against the Switch is a big ask but Horizon Zero Dawn has had rave reviews so expect everyone with any cash left over (and a PS4) to grab it.
It may seem a little bonkers for Torment: Tides of Numenera to go head to head with these titans, but the PC faithful won’t care about anything else. That’s not all that’s happening, either – there’s a new Story of Seasons (Harvest Moon as was) on 3DS, the latest series of The Walking Dead comes to disc, The Division and Total War get big new DLC packs, and there’s the usual stack of digital releases.

As always, PlayStation Store release dates may vary depending on region.
